Ingredients

2 large onions, roughly chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
400g minced pork
415g tin of baked beans
400g tin of mixed beans (kidney, pinto and white beans), drained and washed
680g jar of passata
1 teaspoon hot chilli powder
1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and fry the onions until translucent.
  2. Add the crushed garlic to the pan and fry for another minute.
  3. Add the pork and fry until browned
  4. Add the baked beans, mixed beans, passata and chilli powder. Stir well, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve with boiled rice or baked potato.
